Newbottle Primary School Girls' Team qualify for National Finals
Newbottle Primary School (Lambton & Hetton Schools’ FA) won the North Regional Finals of the ESFA U11 7-a-side Schools’ Cup for Girls on Saturday 6 March at Leeds Metropolitan University.
They beat St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Junior School (Huyton Schools’ FA) in the final with a convincing 3-0 win. The result means that Newbottle Primary School will be invited to compete in the National Finals on Saturday 01 May 2010 at Watford Football Club’s Training Ground.
The English Schools’ FA would like to extend its thanks to Girls FC (Walker Books) for sponsoring this tournament.
