ESFA Reward and Recognition Awards 2018-19

Once again, The English Schools’ Football Association, supported by the FA, will be running the Reward and Recognition Awards programme in order to celebrate our volunteer network across the Country.
We truly value the work that goes into running schools’ football nationwide, with the passion of individuals often the reason that so many children and young people have a fantastic experience in the game. It is these people that we want to celebrate and therefore, we need your help to find those who have had the greatest impact.
Last season, Ken Davies from Merseyside was celebrated as our Volunteer of the Year for his contribution to Schools’ football over a 50 year period, but also the fantastic contribution which he made during the 2017-18 season.
Nominated by his Association, Ken volunteered as the secretary of Merseyside County Schools FA, Chair of the Northern Counties Schools’ FA and even sits as a schools’ representative on the Liverpool County FA board.
Throughout the 2017-18 seasons Ken was fundamental in the development of Futsal within the county, the creation of an U19 league, promotion of girls football in the area and also maintaining links with Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs, who have become are great supporters of Merseyside CSFA.
Everyone involved in Merseyside CSFA and the ESFA as a whole, would like to thank Ken for his hard work and dedication in 2017-18 and the many years before.

This is now your chance to nominate your local heroes for these National Awards!
Winners will receive a pair of tickets to selected England games, with a number of windows for nominations to be submitted. They are:
Window 1: 24 July – 6 August 2018
Window 2: 29 August – 14 September 2018
Window 3: 28 September – 15 October 2018
More dates to be announced.
All winners will also be put forward for a chance to be presented with the ESFA Contribution to Schools’ Football Award for 2018-19.
