11-a-side Football in the month of June

The English Schools’ FA has been reminded by the Registrations Manager at The Football Association that 11-a-side football in not allowed between the dates 1 June to 30 June 2008, regarded as the close season.
Any matches currently arranged for this month should therefore be postponed and re-arranged on or after 1 July 2008.
9-a-side soccer or mini-soccer is permissible in June.
The whole matter of 11-a-side football in June is currently being reviewed by The FA, but the ruling stands for June 2008.
