It has been made mandatory by The Football Association that each County / District Schools’ FA must appoint a Child Welfare Officer (CWO) for Season 2008-09. Failure to appoint one will result in affiliation not being permitted. By Season 2009-10 each appointed CWO will be required to have attended a 3 hour “Child Protection and Best Practice” workshop which can be accessed via the local County FA
