Stoke City FC to host multiple ESFA National Finals in May 2018

The English Schools’ FA are pleased to announce 16 National Finals will be hosted at Stoke City’s bet365 Stadium during May

Stoke City FC, who last season played host to the ESFA Danone U11 Schools’ Cup Finals, will this year once again welcome the ESFA to their stadium in order for the Association to stage 16 of their 45 National Finals.

32 teams will head to the stadium on the 10th, 11th, 12th and 16th May for their opportunity to showcase the very best in schools’ football in England. Each day will see four matches go ahead with kick off times of 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm, giving general spectators and supporters four opportunities to enjoy some fantastic football throughout each day - an event overview can be found below:

Thursday 10 May: Premier League U16 Schools’ Cup Finals

The four, Premier League sponsored, ESFA U16 competitions will kick off the Stoke City events throughout the day on Thursday 10th (KO times for each competition still TBC)

Friday 11 May: U14 – U18 Schools’ Cup Finals

Friday 11th will see four very different National Finals take place at Stoke with a mixture of Elite Schools’ Finals and Rep Team football. The U18 Elite Schools’ Cup Final will kick off the day’s events followed by the U15 PlayStation Schools’ Cup for B Teams, the U14 PlayStation Schools’ Cup for B Teams and followed up with the ESFA U16 Inter County Cup for Boys.

Saturday 12 May: ESFA Family Day

For the first time in recent seasons, the ESFA will be hosting Rep Team Finals on a Saturday and hope to welcome along a bumper crowd to share in the experiences brought about by the day. Two U14 Inter County, one U16 Inter County and one U18 Inter County Cup Final will take place over the day, crowning another four champions.

Wednesday 16 May: U13 & U15 Schools’ Cup Finals

On the final day of ESFA events at Stoke City FC, two Inter District finals, and two PlayStation Schools’ Cup finals will take centre stage to round off the festivities.
