Barking Abbey 2-1 St John Fisher (Harrogate)
The final was played at Upton Park, West Ham United FC, on Thursday 19 May, in almost constant drizzle. St John Fisher from Harrogate took a first half lead with a splendid half-volley from the edge of the box before Barking Abbey equalised with a penalty.
The Essex team went on to win the game with a scrambled goal 5 minutes from time. The ESFA wish to thank Trevor Webb, the Education and Welfare Officer at the club, for his assistance, encouragement and support with the arrangements for this game. Trevor will be known to many for his involvement with Schools' Football in the Hertfordshire area.
