1 STEVEN NORRIS

Position : Goalkeeper.
CSFA : Norfolk.
School : King Edward VII, Kings Lynn.
Previous School : Nightingale First School in Norwich.
Born : 3rd October 1990, Colchester

Not surprisingly for a goalkeeper Steven’s favourite player is Chelsea’s Petr Cech. Steven hopes to further his academic career by going to university to study History and War Studies. He also uses his hand eye coordination in playing golf. Kano and Top Gear are up there with Petr Cech as his favourite music and television show. The best ground that he has played on is Carrow Road, home of Norwich City F.C.

2 MATTHEW TASKER

Position : Defender.
CSFA : North Yorkshire.
School : All Saints School, York.
Previous School : St Aelred’s Primary School, York.
Born : 14th June 1991, York.

A right sided defender who captained the North of England earlier in the season. Matt enjoys playing school and County football as well as playing cricket and tennis. He likes to listen to the Killers and not surprisingly enjoys watching Match of the Day. After university he hopes to follow a career in Physical Education, although he enjoys politics and history. Favourite player is Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard.

3 TOM CHAPMAN

Position : Defender.
CSFA : Bedfordshire.
School : Sharnbrook Upper School.
Previous School : Bromham Lower School, Bedford.
Born : 8th February 1991, Bedford.

Plays for Cranfield United. ‘Tommo’ is also an accomplished golfer, winning a number of local competitions over the past three years. MGMT are listed as his favourite group. He watches Soccer AM and The Hills. He has played on the MK Dons pitch and would like to take up a career as a Personal Trainer. Roberto Carlos is his favourite player.

4 JOE CLAYTON

Position : Defender.
CSFA : Leicestershire.
School : Stephenson College, Coalville.
Previous School : Martinshaw Primary School, Leicester.
Born : 6th August 1991, Oxford.

Joe plays for Oadby United in the Midlands League and played in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup against Leeds United FC. A central defender who likes to relax on the riverside fishing. He also plays Golf and Rugby. If he does not make the grade in professional football he would like a career in carpentry and joinery. Another Match of the Day fan who enjoys listening to Oasis. John Terry is ranked among his favourites.

5 JAMIE LIBBY

Position : Defender.
CSFA : Essex.
School : Havering Sixth Form College.
Previous School : Broadford Primary School, Harold Hill.
Born : 30th January 1990, Harold Wood.

Jamie is a tall central defender who likes nothing more than a foray upfront to help his strikers. He plays for Redbridge FC and would like to be a professional footballer after completing a Sports Science degree at university. A lover of all music he names Friends and Soccer AM as his favourite TV programmes. His favourite player is John Terry.

6 SIMON JOHNSON

Position : Midfielder.
CSFA : Sussex.
School : Hailsham Community College, Hailsham.
Previous School : Polegate County Primary School, Polegate.
Born : 14th April 1991, Pembury - near Tunbridge Wells.

An all rounder who prefers to be in the centre of midfield when with Eastbourne Borough FC. Simon played for his county in the 2008 ESFA National Inter County Final. A 17 handicap golfer who can be proud of his ‘holeinone’ last November. Admits to watching Hollyoaks and listening to Justin Timberlake. After university a career in Sports Coaching beckons.

7 JACOB BAPTISTA

Position : Midfielder.
CSFA : Merseyside.
School : Liverpool Community College.
Previous School :Matthew Arnold Primary School, Liverpool.
Born : 12th May 1991, Liverpool.

Apart from playing school and county football he also plays for Winsford United. Jacob likes to play in the centre of midfield but can also play on the wing or at full back. He has had the honour of playing at Anfield, home of Liverpool FC. Another university hopeful looking for a career in Sports Science. Watches Heroes and listens to Marcus Houston. Favourite player is Zinidene Zidane.

8 JOE VILLIERS

Position : Midfielder.
CSFA : Essex.
School : Barking Abbey School.
Born : 14th October 1990, in Barking, Essex.

Villiers’ has played for his county through all the age groups and has played in the under 18 inter county final in 2008. Another fisherman who is also a golfer. A Question of Sport and Eastenders are watched on the TV. Enjoyed playing at Adams Park, home of Wycombe Wanderers. Not sure what the future holds for him after school.

9 TAYLOR MORGAN

Position : Striker.
CSFA : Hampshire.
School : Tauntons College, Southampton.
Previous School : Herne Junior School.
Born : 21st October 1990, Petersfield.

Taylor has been a regular scorer as a central striker for his county this season and of course he scored the first goal in our 2-0 win over Scotland at Wembley last season. He lists American football as one of his favourite sports and is also another member of the squad who wishes to study Sports Sciences at University. Michael Jackson tops his music list and ‘Big Brother’ captures his imagination during his down time from his studies. Thierry Henry is his favourite player.

10 DANNY WATSON

Position : Striker.
CSFA : Bedfordshire.
School : Bedford College.
Previous School : Lealands High School, Luton.
Born : 14th March 1991, Luton.

Danny also played at Wembley and scored the second goal in the 2-0 victory over Scotland. An out and out striker he plays for Kempston Rovers FC as well as being another keen golfer. Danny enjoys 50 cent and watches Soccer AM. He is focused on getting into the professional ranks after leaving college. Rates Lionel Messi.

11 DAVID WHEELER

Position : Midfielder.
CSFA : Sussex.
School : Sussex Downes College, Lewes.
Previous School : Western Road Primary School, Lewes.
Born : 4th October 1990, Brighton.

Wheels’ is a right sided midfielder who can also play in a number of different positions. He has played in the FA Youth Cup, the FA Cup and the FA Trophy with Lewes FC. He enjoys playing badminton and is the Lewes A.C. under 17, 400 meter record holder. Watches Friends and listens to Killers. Considering studying Sports Sciences at university if a career in football does not work out. A fan of David Beckham.

12 MATTHEW WHITEHEAD

Position : Defender / Midfielder.
CSFA : Sussex.
School : Chichester College .
Previous School : Springfield First School, Downsbrook Middle School and St Andrews C of E High School, Worthing.
Born : 29th April 1992, Shorham.

Matty plays alongside David Wheeler at Lewes FC in the Conference. He has played in the FA Youth Cup this season. He plays most sports when he has time and will play anywhere but prefers left back or left midfield. He watches Soccer AM but doesn’t list any musical favourites. Not sure where the career will go after college. Robbie Keane and Robbie Savage are listed as Matty’s favourite players.

14 JAMES NORWOOD

Position : Midfielder / Striker.
CSFA : Sussex.
School : St Bede’s Senior School.
Previous School : St Andrew’s Infants School, Eastbourne.
Born : 5th September 1990, Eastbourne.

Nicknamed ‘Boots’, he also plays for Eastbourne United and has played for the Independent Schools’ representative side. A striker who can also play in midfield. Has been known to play the other code of football with the oval ball! Watches Friends and the X Factor and listens to Dizzy Rascal. A career in business after time at university. Alan Shearer and Pele are his two favourite players.

15 DAVID KNIGHT

Position : Striker / Midfielder.
CSFA : Essex.
School : Barking Abbey Senior School.
Previous School : Woodlands Junior School, Ilford.
Born : 13th September 1990, Edmonton North London.

Lofty’ plays for Thurrock FC in the Blue Square South and has played in the FA Youth Cup. Normally a striker but was used by Dagenham & Redbridge as a right back. Watches Match of the Day and Eastenders. University is still a possibility, but he is still not sure what will come around after school. A fan of Wayne Rooney.

16 ROBERT CARTER

Position : Midfielder / Defender.
CSFA : Kent.
School : Kemnal Technology College, Sidcup.
Previous School : Ealdham Primary School, Eltham.
Born : 16th January 1991, Greenwich.

Robbo’ plays for Maidstone United in the Isthmian League as well as for his college and his county. A centre half who can play on either side as a full back. Likes tennis and rugby; watches Match of the Day and Eastenders and listens to Oasis. Would like to be a Physical Education teacher after a spell at university. Names David Beckham and Steven Gerrard as his favourite players.

Position : Goalkeeper.
CSFA : Gloucestershire.
School : Hartpury College, Gloucester.
Previous School : The Dell Primary School, Chepstow.
Born : 24th January 1991, Newport, Gwent.

Another goalkeeper who fancies playing upfront and scoring goals! Although ‘Passy’ plays in the Forest Green Conference club he enjoys playing for his college team as the standard is very high. After university he hopes to try to make it in the professional game. Ben Foster is his favourite player in the professional ranks. A county standard cricketer who has been known to watch Eastenders!

18 NICK HANCOCK

Position : Midfielder.
CSFA : Gloucestershire.
School : Hartpury College, Gloucester.
Previous School : Pedmore C of E Primary School, Stourbridge.
Born : 10th September 1991, Stourbridge.

A central midfield player who has been on West Brom’s books. Also plays Rugby, Cricket and Golf at a high standard. Another JayZ fan who likes to watch Only Fools and Horses. ‘Hanks’ is set on gaining a place at university before a career in a sport related subject. Another Steven Gerrard fan.

19 MICHAEL SCOTT

Position : Defender.
CSFA : Kent.
School : Maplesden Noakes School, Maidstone.
Previous School : St Michael’s C of E School, Maidstone.
Born : 10th September 1991, Maidstone.

Scotty’ is a right sided defender who plays for Chatham Town in the Ryman League. A regular for both his school and his county. He is a keen tennis player. A Take That fan who likes to watch Soccer AM. Would like to go to university and to follow a career in the police force. Favourite player: Steven Gerrard.

Position : Defender.

Born : 24th January 1991, Durham.

James was a late comer to the squad replacing the injured Tom Chapman. A left sided player who is comfortable at the back and also going forward. Likes tennis and rugby; watches two and a half men and the Simpsons and listens to Kings of Leon. Would like to be a Sports Therapist after a spell at university. He names Steven Gerrard as his favourite player and the Stadium of Light as his favourite ground.

MR PHIL NARDIELLO

Position : Team Manager.

Assistant Head Teacher at Park Hall School, Solihull, West Midlands. UEFA A Licence Coach. Assistant Manager to the England Schools’ under 18 team in 2007-2008. Assistant Manager to the England Schools’ under 15 team in 1992. Football career as a player limited due to a broken leg at the age of 16. First season as Team Manager following on from two years as Assistant Manager. Has visited Wembley on three occasions as a member of England Schools’ teams.

MR ANDY WILLIAMS

Position : Assistant Manager.

Head Teacher at Moorfield Primary School, Widnes, Lancashire. UEFA A Licence Coach. Liverpool FA Academy Coach. Played local league football in Liverpool. Claim to fame — ran London marathon in two hours, 48 minutes. First season as Assistant Manager.

MR SHAUN HEMMING

Position : Goalkeeper Coach.

PE Teacher, Kingley College, Redditch. UEFA A Licence Coach. Aston Villa Academy Coach. Warwickshire and Worcestershire Schools’ under 18. Redditch District Schools’ under 14, 15 and 16. Apprentice with Coventry City FC. First season as Goalkeeper Coach.

MR MIKE HEWITT

Position : Physiotherapist.

Physical Education and English teacher at Stopsley High School, Luton. He is one of only three qualified school teachers in the country qualified as a Sports Therapist, through extensive courses at the National Sports Centre, Lilleshall. England under 18 ‘physio’ now for seven years. Works closely as a team member, particularly with the team doctor, Arthur Tabor. Injury stopped a promising career as a player. In his last season with the under 18s.

DR ARTHUR TABOR

Position : Team Doctor.

A retired GP from Hove, Sussex. Club doctor at Brighton when the legendary Brian Clough was the manager. Recruited by the Football Association in the 1980s. Arthur has attended over 400 international matches at all levels. Worked with the ESFA under 15s and under 18s for many years. Arthur’s advice and assistance, particularly on dietary aspects, is priceless. He retires at the end of this season.
