Dyke House College v Trinity Catholic College

Dyke House College have set up a fourth round tie with Middlesbrough's Nunthorpe School after hitting a super six in today's English Schools PlayStation Cup tie.

Dyke House were in dominant mood as the Year 9boys claimed a 6-0 victory over another Boro school, Trinity Catholic College, in tough, wet conditions.

The Hartlepool team started a little slowly as Trinity worked hard to restrict the home side, but Lewis Porritt's recent good run continued in front of goal when he scored twice in the opening 15 minutes.

Porritt's opener was from an excellent Cameron Painter corner and he added a second courtesy of good play between Blayne Hall and David Webb.

Dyke House could have scored more before the break but were thwarted on three occasions by the crossbar and some excellent goalkeeping.

Trinity found it even harder in the second period against thewind and driving rain.

Dyke House captain Cameron Painter, enjoying his best game for the side this year, scored two great goals from long range.

Then Hall and Robert Foster-Topping also deservedly got on the scoresheet thanks to hard work during the game.

A mention also goes to goalkeeper Thomas Armstrong, Brandon Sanderson,Drew Wood and Kian Waggott for keeping a well-earned clean sheet.

The Dyke House boys now travel to face a strong Nunthorpe side, who won a Cleveland County Cup tie between the two sides last year
