ESFA Boys’ U18 International Squad Trials

This weekend will see the first two regional trials for the Boys’ U18 International Squad taking place in the North and the Midlands, giving the nominated boys’ the opportunity to showcase their footballing skills in order to attempt to progress towards later trials with a view to making our renowned ESFA International Squad.

These two initial trials will be followed by the South East and South West trials on Sunday 1 November. Once the successful boys from the preliminary trials have been chosen they will progress to take part in two further trial matches (North v Midlands and South East v South West) dates and details of which are still to be confirmed, but will be updated on our website.

If you would like to support the boys’ taking part in the trials and see what the selection process for our U18 squad consists of, please feel free to go along to support the boys’ in your area! Details are below:

North Trials

These will take place on Saturday 24 October at the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Blackburn, facilitated by Andy Williams, a North West Council Member: KO 11am

Midlands Trials

These will take place on Sunday 25 October at Repton School, facilitated by Paul Rickard, a Midlands’ Council Member: KO 11am

South East Trials

Due to take place on Sunday 1 November at Rayner's Lane, facilitated by Dave Woollaston, a South East Council Member: KO 11am

South West Trials

Due also to take place on Sunday 1 November at Clevedon FC and facilitated by Stuart Inger, South West Council Member: KO TBC

We would like to wish luck to all those boys’ who have been nominated to take part in this process and we look forward to seeing another year of high footballing standards produced by the U18 boys.
