English Schools’ FA Launch New Partnership with Nike

To mark the beginning of the ESFA’s new partnership with kit sponsor Nike, on Tuesday 29 September, Enfield Grammar School hosted representatives from both organisations along with Premiership footballer Danny Rose to launch this latest initiative.
Enfield’s PlayStation Schools’ Cup U13 boys’ team, who were crowned Middlesex County Champions last season, took part in a training session, during which they were treated to a kick about in the sunshine with Danny, followed by some advice from the footballing star on how they can improve their game.
The Spurs defender then took part in a question and answer session with the players on the school field, where he was able to impart some valuable advice and words of encouragement to the budding footballers, who sat captivated throughout.
Danny explained to the young Enfield Grammar footballers that he loved playing football in his schools days, in particular playing in the County Cups. He encouraged the players to keep training and listen to the advice of their teachers. Danny said “I loved playing football at school, it was a chance to play with my friends and we used to win all the county cups”.
The ESFA are confident that this new partnership with Nike will allow them to provide high quality, ESFA and Nike branded products and garments into the forefront of Schools’ Football and enable the Nike brand to be firmly cemented into the hearts and minds of the ESFA’s member Schools and Associations.
On this new opportunity, Andrea Chilton, ESFA CEO said:
