Boys’ U18 International Development Day at Lilleshall: Final 33 Announced!

On Friday 28th November, 67 boys arrived at Lilleshall NSC for the regional ESFA development day. We were fortunate with the autumnal, mild weather and all of the boys enjoyed a feast of football.
All four regions (North, SW, SE and Midlands) played against each other, showing a high level of skill and endeavour. Thank you to the regional coaches, selectors and physiotherapists for their valuable expertise and support.

Selecting 33 boys to progress was extremely difficult and it is important to remember football selection is based on opinion. We are looking forward to seeing the boys on January 9th for the next stage in the ESFA International selection process. The boys will play RAF and Navy representative teams, both will prove a stern test!
Good luck to all 67 boys with their future, it was a pleasure to lead an elite group of young men.
