The ESFA are thrilled to announce the appointment of Rachel Brown-Finnis as the new Goalkeeping coach for the Girls' U15 squad.

Rachel started playing football at the age of 7 and by the age of 15, became the youngest player to play in an FA cup final. Rachel signed for her current club, Everton FC in 2003 and has been to four European Championships, two World Cups and was selected in the first ever Team GB Women's football squad for London 2012.

As well as playing for Everton, Rachel also plays in the FA Women's Super League and both England and Great Britain's Women's football teams. She has 83 England caps to her name and Mike Spinks, ESFA Chairman believes she will 'undoubtedly be a great asset to our set-up'.

Rachel also guided St Julie's RC High School (Liverpool SFA) to an ESFA Girls' Under 18 Schools' Cup final at the Don Valley Stadium in 2012.  St Julie's were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Thurstable School (Colchester) on that occasion.

We wish Rachel every success in her new role at the ESFA.
