Centenary Shield Winners: England 2014
The English Schools’ FA is delighted to confirm that Truro City will play host to England v Wales in the Centenary Shield on Friday 27th February 2015, kick-off 7.00 pm.
England will be looking to retain the Centenary Shield after lifting the trophy in April 2014 following an unbeaten campaign which included wins against Wales and Northern Ireland and draws against Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
The international will form part of the following celebrations:
- 2015 is the Centenary of the Cornwall Schools’ Football Association
- 2015 is the 125th anniversary of the Cornwall Football Association
- 2015 is the 125th anniversary of Truro City Football Club
Tickets
Tickets will be £6 per adult, 3 per child. For groups one free adult ticket to every 15 children (child defined as anyone in full time education at school/college in Cornwall).
Other entertainment includes:
Cornwall schools’ FA Primary Cup Final before the game.
Tesco Skills demonstration at half-time.
Truro City mascot, Vinny the Tiger will also be on hand to support the three lions.
