FREE TICKETS FOR UEFA WOMEN'S U17 FINALS

UEFA U17 Women's Finals

On behalf of UEFA and The FA, we would like to invite schools to take a group of students to attend the prestigious UEFA Women’s Under-17 final tournament from 26 November-8 December.

Matches have been scheduled in the daytime to enable schoolchildren to witness a UEFA finals and watch the best young female footballers in Europe.

Your school is eligible to apply for free tickets until Monday 18 November 2013. Should your school apply (via a teacher), they will automatically be entered into winning one of our three fantastic prizes from tournament sponsors Continental and Lego:

  • A special day of football for up to 50 children at St. George’s Park in Burton on Thursday 20 March 2014 including kit, coaching, lunch and a tour of England’s home of coaching
  • One of 10 ContiWarmUp football kits from Continental for schools including two sets of bibs, balls size 3 and 4, cones and netbag
  • A set of Lego Friends Heartlake High

England will play Italy, Austria and Portugal in Group A and in Group B Scotland will play France, Germany and Spain.

Schools are welcome to come to all sixteen matches and group forms can be accessed by visiting http://wu17ticketing.thefa.com/ and going to the group booking section or email uefaticketing.wu17@thefa.com.

Specific daytime matches for schools are on the following dates:

Tuesday 26 November Opening match England v Italy at AFC Telford New Bucks Head, kick off 12.30

Monday 2 December Portugal v England at Burton Albion FC, kick off 12.30

The Final will be played at Chesterfield FC on Sunday 8 December, kick off 5.00pm.

The matches are free to students and the party atmosphere will begin outside the stadium with free festivals and displays from 10.30am. There will also be a commemorative programme with information on the team, the Euros and of course playing football!

This tournament is part of The FA celebrations of 150 years of running the game and 20 years of supporting women’s football. We are committed to inspiring a new generation of players and fans and providing access to top class football.
