The English Schools’ FA International Committee is proud to announce that Andy Blight from Newcastle Upon Tyne (Northumberland County Schools’ FA) has been appointed Assistant Manager of the ESFA International Squad for the season 2012-2013 and will replace Andy Buckingham who will become the England Schools' Team Manager on the retirement of the current manager, Andy Williams.
Andy Blight, who has been an integral team member of the ESFA Summer Courses for the last 6 years, is Director of Sport at the Northumberland Church of England Academy. A UEFA A Licence coach since 2003, he has worked with Newcastle United FC, Middlesbrough FC and Carlisle United FC as well as with the Northumberland Schools’ FA.
