At The Football Association’s Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 25 May, the shareholders passed a proposal to increase the age limit for mixed football from Under 11 (Year 6) to Under 13 (Year 8).

The matter is an item on the English Schools’ FA which will be discussed at this season’s Annual General Meeting being held on Saturday 25 June 2011 at the Beacon International Centre, Stafford.

The FA has issued and Q & A document which may be of help in explaining the rationale behind the rule change.
