South Hunsley School (East Riding SFA) lifted the ESFA Under 15 Schools’ Cup for girls this afternoon after they overcame Haberdashers’ Aske’s Knights Academy (Blackheath SFA), 4-1, at Port Vale Football Club.

South Hunsley took an early lead on 7 minutes through Nelly Rawson. South Hunsley soon doubled their lead on 25 minutes, courtesy of a Liberty Bott effort. Haberdasher’s pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time (35 minutes) thanks to Dominique Harris.

In the second half South Hunsley asserted their authority on the game once again, with goals from Liberty Bott (40 minutes) and Nelly Rawson (72 minutes).

John Appleby, the ESFA Vice-Chairman, was on hand to present the trophy to South Hunsley captain, Jess Thompson.
