Monday 04 March saw 8 teams from around England descend on the Derby Powerleague to take on the challenge of becoming National Champions for 2011.
The competing schools were presented with a plaque to take back to school as a memento for winning their respective local Area Finals.
As the competition started it showed exactly why the teams were in the Finals, as many of the players were displayiing excellent ability and skill.
Cheney School were crowned National Champions by Marc Cowcher of Munich Trophies - sponsor of the competition for 2011. Cheney's win was largely in thanks to Courtney Sumner who scored an impressive 12 goals for her school.
