Maiden Erlegh 1-1 Thomas Telford (aet)

Thomas Telford School (Telford & Wrekin SFA) were crowned U13 Girls’ National Champions after they defeated Maiden Erlegh School (Reading Schools’ FA) 4-3 on penalties at Burton Albion FC on Saturday morning (01 May 2010).

Laura Harris-Steers scored for Maiden Erlegh in the second half and Courtney Owen netted for Thomas Telford to take the tie into injury time.

Thomas Telford won the cup thanks to converted penalties from Jemma Smith, Abigail Horton, Courtney Owen and Ellie-May Shepherd.
