Everton Football Club hosted the Final of the U12 MATCH! Schools Cup yesterday.
Archbishop Beck (Liverpool) took on Richard Challoner (New Malden) in a close game for the Title.
The game started fast with a penalty to Archbishop Beck in the first 10 minutes of the game, Brian Lee took centre stage and converted from the spot to put his team ahead.
Later in the game the Captain of Richard Challoner School Jack Watret equalised to put the two teams level again.
The game looked to be heading for extra time when Rhys Hardacre took a chance and made it 2-1 to Archbishop Beck.
