England Schoolboys visit Atlanta
England's first match of the tour against Atlanta FC was abandoned at half time due to torrential rain storm.
However, England finally managed to complete 90 minutes against Atlanta Black Hawks yesterday. The score finished 0-0, but England, with a little more luck in front of goal, could have easily won 3-0. It was arguably the best the boys have played all season.
Against a very strong Hawks team Hancock and Johnson controlled the midfield, and Morgan upfront, terrorised their defence.
The conditions have been very hot with high humidity for the travelling party, who will have no doubt enjoyed their trip to the USA, which included the party visiting schools in deprived areas, showed off their skills and did some football play with the children.
