Wright Robinson (Manchester SFA) made it through to the final of this year’s U16 Royal Air Force Schools’ Cup for boys after comprehensively beating Carre’s Grammar (South Lincolnshire SFA) 4-0 on a pleasant sunny spring day at RAF Cosford this afternoon.

Carre’s Grammar went into the interval 1-0 down thanks to a header from Wright Robinson’s Jordan Thompson.

After the break, Kaide Moreland added a second for Wright Robinson with another header following a goal mouth scramble. Then Jordan Thompson made it 3-0 with a well taken strike from inside the area before he went onto complete his hatrick after running through the defence a rounding the keeper to make it 4-0.

The second Semi-Final between Howard of Effingham (Guildford SFA) and Ladymead (Taunton SFA) kicks-off at 3.30 pm this afternoon, also at RAF Cosford.
