Peterborough got their U15 Inter Association Trophy campaign off to a flying start as they romped to a 7-1 victory at home to Great Yarmouth on Saturday morning.

The contest was effectively over by half time as the hosts went into the interval 5-1 up, thanks to a hat-trick from Joey Yeboah and further goals from Reece Currie and Liam Morgan.

The second half was a formality for Peterborough as further goals were added from Rhys Howsden and Ashley Watson.

Peterborough will now play away to Leicester in Round Two. Round Two matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday 25 Octover 2008.
