One Game, One Community weeks of action, 16-28 October 2008.

Kick it Out is football’s equality campaign, working throughout the football, educational and community sectors.

The One Game, One Community weeks of action is one of the most prominent equality and community engagement initiatives in the country.

Last year over 1000 events took place, including grassroots tournaments, school competitions and match day activities at all 92 professional clubs in England and Wales, making the weeks of action the biggest series of activities of their kind in Europe.

Kick it Out want amateur clubs to be at the heart of the weeks of action the way they are at the heart of the game. Every club has the opportunity to be involved in organising an activity this year.

More information is available at www.kickitout.org, as well as examples of previous activities and details of the One Game, One Community Grant scheme which supports the running of some events by up to £1,000. You can also support your event through resources available from Kick it Out.
