Thomas Telford School (Telford) have made into yet another English Schools’ FA National Final after their Under 15 Girls team overcame Dukeries College (Newark) convincingly in the Semi-Finals yesterday afternoon.
Thomas Telford were 3-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Nicola Hall, Louise Pritchard and Abby Hope.
The second half was a similar story as the Shropshire based school continued to dominate proceedings. Further goals were added from Aoife Kelly, Nicola Hall and Abby Pope. Dukeries College reply came courtesy of Emma Connington.
Thomas Telford will now play the winners of Cardinal Newman (Luton) or Winston Churchill in the Final. The two south-east schools meet on Wednesday 25 April at Cardinal Newman School, kick-off 3.00 pm.
