Cirencester make U18 Colleges' Final

Cirencester Team Manager, Steve Lowndes, guided Cirencester College to their fifth Colleges? Trophy Final in eight years by overcoming last season?s Champions, Southgate College, on Wednesday 23 March at the Corinium Stadium, Cirencester Town FC.

Cirencester went in 1-0 up at the break thanks to a goal from Dean Stow.  Marcus Hall made it 2-0 in the second half to send Cirencester to the final, which will be held at Chesterfield Football Club on Monday 18 April, Kick-off 1.30 pm.

Cirencester will await the winners of Bilborough College and Middlesbrough College to find out who they meet in the final.  Middlebrough will be hoping to go one better than least season, when they finished Runners-up after losing to Southgate College 3-1.

Cirencester's last appearance in the final was in 2002, when they demolished West Notts College 6-0 at Notts County FC on Friday 26 April 2002.
