Cramlington Success in U18 Trophy

Cramlington High School U18's beat Clitheroe Grammar School, Lancashire on Thursday 27th January to go through to the last 16 in the ESFA U18 Schools' Trophy. The game was played infront of a large crowd at Blackburn Rovers Academy.

It was a close encounter in the first half with both sides creating a number of good chances. In the second half however, Cramlington proved to be too strong for Clitheroe.  First Dean Morgan scored with a 40 yard drive and then Shaun Nicholson scored too well taken goals to complete a 3-0 victory.

Cramlington High School take on Gilesgate Sports College from Durham in the next round. This game is to be played at the Sporting Club Cramlington on Wednesday 2nd February kick off 2.00 p.m.  Cramlington are hopeful of doing well against their Durham rivals in pursuit of a quarter final place.
