Position : Goalkeeper.
CSFA : Greater Manchester County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Manchester.
Current School : Ashton on Mersey School.
Born : 22 April 1996.

Our shot stopper is playing regularly for his school and has also played at Old Trafford and the Amsterdam Arena in his career to date. He is currently studying maths & economics but hopes to focus on becoming a professional goalkeeper upon finishing school. His current favourite players are Hugo Lloris and David De Gea.

Position : Full Back.
CSFA : Shropshire County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Wolverhampton.
Current School : Thomas Telford School.
Born : 12 November 1996.

A useful full back, who can also play on either wing, is hoping to use this experience to pursue a career in sports. Names The Hawthorns (West Bromwich Albion) as the best ground he has ever played at during a 2013 schools final. His favourite player is ex-Arsenal star, Thierry Henry.

Position : Left Back.

Hometown : Chilton.
Current School : Darlington College.
Born : 28 March 1996.

Andrew models his game on Nemanja Vidic, the tough tackling Manchester United defender. His sole sporting interest is football & wants to become a footballer or coach as a full time career. His best performance to date was playing for Durham CSFA against Greater Manchester in the Under 16 Inter County quarter final.

Position : Centre Midfield.

Hometown : Newcastle.
Current School : Gateshead Academy of Sport.
Born : 12 March 1996.

Dean is one of three Durham based County Schools FA player who will be representing the Three Lions this season. He has played at the Parc Des Princes in Paris during the Danone Nations Cup and also at St. James Park (Newcastle United FC). When not playing football he enjoys golf and unsurprisingly names PE as his favourite school subject.

Position : Full Back.
CSFA : Durham County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Jarrow.
Current School : St. Josephs Catholic Academy.
Born : 21 May 1997.

A versatile defender who has played at Wembley Stadium in the 2008 ESFA U11 primary finals. He tries to model his game on Brazilian full back Marcelo (Real Madrid) and wants to pursue both sport and spanish at university. Plays a number of other sports such as basketball, badminton and rugby when not on the football pitch.

Position : Centre Back.
CSFA : Herefordshire County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Ross on Wye.
Current School : Hartpury College.
Born : 13 March 1996.

A centre back, who can play across the entire back line or as a defensive midfielder. Danny enjoys studying anatomy and physiology and hopes to put this knowledge to good use in his future career. Has played at St Georges Park while captaining the England Colleges team and loves watching Lionel Messi play for Barcelona.

Position : Winger.
CSFA : Cheshire County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Warrington.
Current School : The Grange School.
Born : 13 May 1996.

A lively, quick winger who can line up on either side and is sure to cause problems for opposing defenders this season. Daniel has played in the FA Youth Cup, the FA Cup preliminary rounds and the FA Vase to date. He hopes to go on to university and study sports, media or business. He names the Pirelli Stadium (Burton Albion FC) as the best ground he has played at so far.

Position : Centre Midfield.
CSFA : Leicestershire & Rutland County Schools F.A.
Hometown : Leicester.
Current School : Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth College.
Born : 21 April 1996.

Brady will line up for us in the middle of the park this season, hoping to pull the strings and create goal-scoring opportunities. He has played at the King Power Stadium (Leicester City FC) and names his idols in the professional game as Jack Wilshere and Ross Barkley. Hoping to study sport science at the renowned Loughborough University and make a career as a sports analyst.

Position : Centre Forward.
CSFA : Lancashire County Schools F.A.
Hometown : Preston.
Current School : Preston College.
Born : 19 December 1996.

Ryan is a proven goalscorer who has experience playing in the FA Trophy, he can play in a number of attacking roles and will be looking to carry the goal threat for England this campaign. He has played at Carrington (Manchester United’s training ground) and names that as his top match venue to date.

Position : Centre Forward.
CSFA : Lancashire County Schools F.A.
Hometown : Preston.
Current School : Myerscough College.
Born : 09 April 1996.

Michael is another keen striker with an eye for goal. He is an all round athlete and has previously competed in the 800m at English national finals. The Crown Ground (Accrington Stanley FC) is the best ground he has played on previously and he is very keen to attend university and study sports and exercise science or sports coaching.

Position : Midfield.
CSFA : Leicestershire & Rutland County Schools F.A.
Hometown : Leicester.
Current School : Guthlaxton College.
Born : 29 February 1996.

A powerful winger who can also line up at full back or as a ‘number 10’. His most memorable performance to date was scoring 4 goals whilst representing Leicestershire CSFA, and being selected to represent England. He intends to study at university and become a PE teacher while continuing to play football, Sunderland’s Academy ground is the best facility he has ever played at.

Position : Centre Midfield.

Hometown : Blackburn.
Current School : Myerscough College.
Born : 24 March 1996.

An energetic midfielder who has a proven goalscoring record at County level – 4 goals in his last 2 games – will be keen to add to that for England in the Centenary Shield. He has played at The Reebok Stadium (Bolton Wanderers FC) and wants to pursue football coaching as a career. His worst injury occurred when he was 7 and was bitten by a dog!

Current School : Hartlepool Sixth Form College.
Born : 08 December 1996.

Paul is a keen cricketer and represents the county throughout the summer months. He models his game on Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard and wants to pursue a career within sports. He has played at the Riverside Stadium (Middlesborough FC) and his most memorable performance was during a district game playing for Hartlepool Schools FA and gaining a 3-1 victory over Chester-Le-Street.

Hometown : Hackney.
Current School : All Saints Catholic School.
Born : 09 April 1996.

A powerful full back who can also line up as an attacker and cause problems with his strength and speed. He has played at the Boleyn Ground (West Ham United FC) and names his debut in the FA Cup as his memorable match to date. He enjoys watching Cristiano Ronaldo and hopes to study sports business management at university.

Position : Centre Forward.

Hometown : Whitley Bay.
Current School : Monkseaton High School.
Born : 14 June 1996.

The strong centre back, who can play as a full back if needed, will be hoping to impose himself upon opposition attackers. Thomas also plays tennis, cricket and golf when not on the football pitch and played in the English Colleges’ final last season. He enjoys PE at school and hopes to go on to university.

Position : Goalkeeper.

Hometown : Canterbury.
Current School : Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys.
Born : 30 July 1996.

Tom is a talented goalkeeper who already has two FA Cup appearances under his belt. He is an all round sportsman, particularly enjoying playing cricket. Unsure about whether he will move on to university, but is looking at studying sports science or a career as a referee if he cannot become a professional footballer.

Hometown : Kirkby.
Current School : Maricourt Catholic High School.
Born : 07 March 1996.

A smart centre midfielder who is looking at attending university in the United States on a scholarship. Dominic joins the squad with a host of experience in Schools’ football, having played in finals at both Goodison Park (Everton FC) and Anfield (Liverpool FC). He hopes to study IT at university, although his dream is to work within football.

Position : Striker.

Hometown : Maidstone.
Current School : Maplesden Noakes Secondary School.
Born : 05 June 1996.

Joshua is a keen golfer, playing in the Kent golf squad and the England Futures squad. When on the football pitch, he can play in numerous attacking positions and tries to model his game on Lionel Messi. The best ground he has played at to date is Root’s Hall (Southend United FC), with his best performance coming whilst representing Kent in the ESFA Inter County quarter finals two seasons ago.

Mr Andy Buckingham

Position : International Team Manager.
Current School : Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Blackburn.

Andy has been coaching schoolboy football teams for 27 years. He started his coaching career with his school U12s in Somerset. He worked with the first Blackburn SFA District teams and then Lancashire County SFA U16s. Despite stints coaching with Bristol Rovers, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, schoolboy football is still his first love. He says that it has been a privilege to work with any boy that is keen to learn and gain experience and that even those that have achieved the ultimate goal of being a professional footballer, always look back fondly on their schoolboy football days. Tonight’s team will be no exception.

Mr Andy Blight

Position : Assistant Manager.
Current School : Northumberland C of E Academy, Ashington.

Although in his first year with the International squad, Andy has been a senior coach within the ESFA at National Training weeks and County School teams. He is currently Director of Sport at Northumberland Church of England Academy, Ashington. He has been coaching football for 15 years and is the present manager of the Northumberland U16 county schools’ team. He has also coached Academy and Centre of Excellence teams at Middlesbrough and Newcastle United FC. A UEFA 'A' licence coach and FA coach educator.

Mr Andrew Norwood

Position : Goalkeeper Coach.
Current School : Garibaldi College, Nottingham.

Andy teaches Physical Education at Garibaldi College in Nottingham and specialises in football. He has gained numerous coaching awards including his level 1 and 2 in Goalkeeping and will be overseeing the technical development of the U18 Goalkeepers this year. He will combine this role alongside his current duties with the U15 England Schoolgirl team, a role he began at the start of last season. Andy is also a staff member on our summer development course.

Mr Steve Wilderspin

Position : Sports Therapist.
Current School : Thomas Telford School, Telford.

Steve is the Director of Football at Thomas Telford School. He holds the FA Diploma in the Treatment of Injuries award, is an FA Medical Tutor as well as being a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist and member of the SMA. Steve is match day therapist to Airbus UK in the Premier League of Wales and this season he has taken on the role of U18 manager of the Shropshire Schools and Colleges FA where he can put his UEFA B coaching licence to use. Steve also enjoys playing golf in his spare time (of which he does not have much) and he has followed the fortunes of Liverpool FC since he was knee high.

Dr Arthur Tabor

Position : Team Doctor.

Team doctor with experience of over 350 England internationals at all levels since 1979. A keen sportsman with major interests in football (Brighton), Cricket (Sussex) and rugby (Harlequins). Arthur represented the RAF Near Eastern Region at both Hockey and athletics in which he was a speedy 400yd hurdler in the days of the cinder track. After completing his medical training at Barts Hospital, Arthur married Pam who has managed to keep him on the straight and narrow for the past 42 years. Arthur is also a medical examiner of pilots for the Civil Aviation Authority. In 2012 Arthur was made a Life Member of the ESFA, an honour of which he is very proud.
