ESFA Squad Members
The players selected for the England Squad for the forthcoming programme of international matches for 2013-2014 season are:

1 Erin Hannah
Erin has played a number of American teams in her career and she plays a number of other sports too. She can also play as a striker!
2 Niamh Cashin
Position : Full Back.
CSFA : .
Hometown : Mansfield. Current School : All Saints R.C. School.
Niamh has been an 'Aces National Tournament' Champion in France three years in a row! Also plays Futsal and has even competed against the Australian National Squad.
3 Laura Dexter
Position : Left Back.
CSFA : Derbyshire County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Derby. Current School : St Werburghs C of E, Derby.
Laura is an all round athlete, who also plays Cricket, Netball, Basketball and Rounders. She can play left back, left wing or up front.
4 Brittany Sanderson
Position : Centre Midfield.
CSFA : .
Hometown : Barnsley. Current School : Netherwood ALC, Barnsley.
Brittany is a utility player who can play all positions - including in goal! She playes for Netherwood ALC and is also interested in Cricket and Swimming and hopes to study Forensic Science at University.
5 Katy Gigg
Katy was a late call up to the squad to replace Alessia Russo. She is a flying winger who can play on either wing and has an eye for goal.
6 Brittany Egden
Brittany can play across the whole back four and her favourite player is David Luiz. She hopes to go onto University and study for a career in something fun - like being a Sky Diving Instructor!
7 Karolayne Byrom
Position : Winger.
CSFA : Wiltshire County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Swindon. Current School : St Josephs Catholic College, Swindon.
Karolayne is from Brazil and has played in the World Youth Tournament in Sweden in 2013. She hopes to pursue a career as a Footballer, a Physiotherapist or something within Art.
8 Brenna McPartlan
Brenna has played at the Emirates Stadium whilst representing her school, St. Bede's. She is hoping to reach an ESFA National Final this season as St. Bede's are two games away.
9 Georgia Stanway
Captained the ESFA U15's last year and scored two goals against Ireland in her most memorable performance. Georgia wants an active career and has already looked at the Police Force and the Royal Air Force.
10 Kelly Snook
Kelly also represented the ESFA U15's last season whilst Captaining Dorset CSFA. An impressive athlete who has been County High Jump and Hurdles Champion at U13 level. Hoping to becoming a professional footballer or work in the Media.
11 Katie George
Katie's most memorable moment came when she scored a hat trick for Hampshire CSFA U16's - in her first game! She wants to be involved in sports as a career and her favourite player is Sergio Aguero.
12 Ellie Brazil
A talented athlete, Ellie won the 800m Gold medal at the English School Athletics Championship last summer. She hopes to study at Loughborough University and follow her passion into a sporting career.
13 Charlotte Johnson
A Goalkeeper, talented musician and athlete, Charlotte hopes to become a footballer or PE/Music teacher. Her favourite footballing memory was meeting Chelsea's Frank Lampard.
14 Jasmine Hughes
Jasmine can play on either wing and hopes to follow her passion for sports into university and a future career. Her football idol is Alex Scott (Arsenal & England).
15 Jessica Jones
Jessica also enjoys playing cricket during the summers. Her favourite ground to have played on was St. Georges Park.
16 Beth Lumsden
Beth is a Chelsea FC fan (just like her Dad!) and loves watching Frank Lampard play. She hopes to continue her football and take it as far as she can go - which may include playing in the United States on a scholarship.
17 Olivia Dean
Position : Full Back.
CSFA : Greater Manchester County Schools' F.A.
Hometown : Manchester. Current School : Middleton Tech School, Manchester.
Olivia has captained Greater Manchester this season, reaching the Quarter Final of the National Cup. She attends the same school as Paul Scholes once did and wants to become a footballer.
18 Anna King
Anna has played in ESFA Schools Quarter and Semi National Finals. She has played at the Britannia Stadium (Stoke City FC) and hopes to study Sports Journalism or Physiotherapy at University.
19 Charlotte Newsham
A talented runner, Charlotte will compete at the English Schools Cross Country Championship this year. She has played at the Emirates Stadium (Arsenal FC) in a Premier League tournament and hopes to become a footballer.
ESFA Girls Under 15 Staff
Mrs Sarah Steadman
Position : International Team Manager.
Current School : Queens' School, Watford.
Sarah has been teaching at Queens' School in Watford for 14 years where she independently built the foundations for girls football and therefore has enabled it to be the overwhelmingly successful school they are today. It was due to this immediate rise to national success that she was awarded national coach of the year in 2005 by the ESFA. Queens' now dominate both at county level and national level across most, if not all age groups. Sarah coached current England international and top WSL goal scorer Natasha Dowie, and current Wales top scorer Helen Ward (Lander), from a young age. Sarah is the first U15 England schools manager and has had an illustrious career in this role over the past 4 years.
Miss Miranda Hall
Position : International Team Coach.
Current School : Parmiter's School, Watford.
Miranda has been involved with football her whole life, originally playing and then in the latter stages through coaching. She brings with her experience of playing at the highest level in the Women's premier league. Whilst having coached before, Miranda first realised her passion for coaching when she teamed up with Sarah to run the U16 Hertfordshire County team in 2007, where they had some very successful years in the schools' cup. Miranda has been teaching at Parmiter's School in Watford for 7 years where she runs all the girls' football.
Mr Andy Williams
Position : International Team Coach.
Current School : Headteacher of Moorfield Primary School.
Andy Williams has coached at just about every level of football during his twenty years coaching. He cut his teeth coaching with Liverpool Schools' Primary Representative Team working with the likes of Kevin Nolan and Wayne Rooney before later coaching Merseyside U16s where he worked with David Nugent and Leighton Baines. Andy has also coached at the Liverpool FC Academy for thirteen seasons up until 2008 before moving on to the Liverpool FC Ladies senior side as Assistant Manager and coaching in the newly formed FA Women's Super League.
Andy has been the Headteacher of Moorfield Primary School for the past seven and a half years; the school has Gary Taylor-Fletcher of Blackpool FC as a former pupil - he himself played in the 1999 England Schoolboys' U18 International Team winning 5 caps.
Andy's coaching highlights include; winning the ESFA U16s National Title with Merseyside in 2001, the Centenary Shield with the England Schoolboys in 2009 as Assistant Team Manager, and again in 2012 as Head Team Manager.
Mr Andrew Norwood
Position : Goalkeeper Coach.
Current School : Garibaldi College, Nottingham.
Andy teaches Physical Education at Garibaldi College in Nottingham and specialises in football. He has gained numerous coaching awards including his level 1 and 2 in Goalkeeping and will be overseeing the technical development of the U15 Goalkeepers for the second year running. He will combine this role alongside his new duties with the U18 England Schoolboy team. Andy is also a staff member on our summer development course.
