WIN Girls FC books!

The best team for football and friendship, Girls FC is a fantastic new footy series about an under 11 girls’ team. Girls FC is the proud sponsor of the ESFA Under 11 Girls’ Individual Schools’ 7-a-side Cup and you can get the chance to meet the award-winning author, Helena Pielichaty, at two of the regional finals in March, where she will be signing books and presenting medals!
We’re offering one lucky winner the chance to get their hands on the first four books in the series, Do Goalkeepers Wear Tiaras? Can Ponies Take Penalties? Are All Brothers Foul? and Is an Own Goal Bad? Five runners up will win a copy of Do Goalkeepers Wear Tiaras?

Former Kent Schools’ FA and England Schools’ FA International, Chris Smalling, is on the verge of signing for Manchester United in a deal estimated to be worth around £8 million, according to press reports this morning.
26th :: Change of venue for Australia International
The England Under 18 Schools’ International against Australia on Sunday 31 January 2010 will now be held at The New Saints FC, kick-off 10.00 am.
22nd :: National Family Week 2010
National Family Week 2010 is to run between the 31st May and 6th June and aims to encourage people across the country to celebrate being part of a family.
20th :: U18 Schoolboy International: England v Australia
The English Schools' Football Association Under 18 International team will host Australia on Sunday 31 January 2010 at The Prostar Stadium, home to Shrewsbury Town FC, kick-off 10:00 am.
19th :: Long Service Award Deadline Looming
Membership are reminded that the deadline date for County / District Schools' FAs to nominate personnel for Long Service Awards is Saturday 30 January 2010.
13th :: U18 England Trials cancelled again
The English Schools' FA has cancelled this weekend's Under 18 International Trials due to the current adverse weather being experienced around the country.
06th :: England U18 International Trials Postponed
The England Under 18 Schoolboy International Trials, scheduled to take place at Lilleshall National Sports Centre this weekend, have been postponed due to the current inclement weather.
