England Schoolboys held by British Colleges

England player (Red) wins possession
England Under 18 Schoolboys were held to a 2-2 draw at Lilleshall National Sports Centre against British Colleges’ FA on Sunday morning. The England goalscoerers were David Knight (Essex CSFA & Barking Abbey School) and Michael Scott (Kent CSFA and Maplesden Noakes School).
It was the first time the England Boys had gathered together since the squad was selected in early January. The young stars enjoyed being presented with there England kit on the Friday evening and also their Official England Suits which were kindly provided courtesy of Fallen Hero.
The England Schools squad will next gather together for a warm weather training camp in Villarreal, Spain, from 17-21 February. England Team Manager, Phil Nardiello, will be hoping to make the most of the important preparation week ahead of the Centenary Shield which kicks off at the end of February.

England Under 18 Schoolboys went down 2-0 at the hands of Villarreal yesterday afternoon.

From Season 2008/2009 all Associations, as a condition of membership, must have appointed a named Child Welfare Officer (CWO) who has an ‘accepted’ CRB Check, or has, as a minimum an ‘in progress’ enhanced CRB Check with the ESFA/FA

Following a successful return to Wembley Stadium last season, the England Under 18 Schools’ team will once again be treading the hallowed turf of the national stadium to take on France on Saturday 13 June 2009, kick-off 3.00 pm.
